Los Cabos is a wonderful destination for anyone who loves to relax with beautiful beach views and amazing food. I had the privilege of living there for almost 2 years and I can tell you that almost every restaurant I went to, the food was amazing! Los Cabos is a city with many renowned chefs and the service is always excellent.
These are some of the best restaurants in Cabo that captivated my heart and I cannot wait to go back for another culinary tour.
Las Mariscadas
This is one of the least expensive restaurants you can find in Cabo for a delicious meal. The place is very simple, tables in a semi open space, the waiters are very nice and as usual the food is very fresh. When I lived in Cabo I would go there for lunch at least once a week, everything they make is delicious, but some of my favorites are the tuna sashimi tostadas, shrimp tacos with poblano pepper sauce, octopus tacos with ajillo sauce, and the coconut shrimp.

Hacienda Cocina Cantina
This restaurant is inside “Hacienda Beach Club and Residences”, you don’t need to stay there to eat there, but you do need a reservation. The place is soo beautiful, they have inside and outside seating (and the view outside is beautiful). There are fire pits and lights strung above you, it is so romantic and beautiful, but let’s not forget the food!
The food is amazing!! The drinks are delicious, and the service is incredible. One of my favorite dishes are the “Enmoladas” paired with a margarita.

El Farallon – Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
El Farallon is a one of a kind restaurant, the place will truly blow your mind. The restaurant is carved inside a cliff! So, you can only imagine the view from that place, not to mention that you can actually hear the waves crashing into the rocks during dinner. The ambiance of the place is uber romantic. The food is incredible, everything is extremely fresh and they are constantly changing their menu. This is the restaurant that finally convinced my husband that a fish dinner could be as enjoyable as a steak dinner… and that is saying something!
I highly recommend going for an early dinner to catch the sunset, the view is truly mesmerizing. Just make sure to book a reservation as they tend to book up very quickly.

Tiki Bar
Tiki Bar is a very small restaurant in front of the Marina, that looks just like a tiki bar, not many walls and a roof made of thatched palm leaves. They have delicious, fresh seafood, that’s to die for. They have burgers, sushi and amazing shrimp nachos. But my favorite items are the different types of sashimi they offer (my favorite being tuna and salmon) and the Curricanes! Avocado and crab meat wrapped in tuna sashimi and dressed in a soy sauce and chipotle mayo. O…M…G!

Sunset Mona Lisa
This restaurant is so beautiful and romantic, the view from the tables outside is unbelievable and the food is to die for. This is actually the restaurant where my husband proposed to me. This restaurant has been classified as “One of the top 5 coolest restaurants in the world”. The tables are built into the side of cliff and surrounded by pools of water that cascade down to the ocean. And of course there is live music, but did I mention the menu is truly sensational?
I even remember enjoying the bread and butter infused with orange! The menu consists of 3, 5 or 7 courses and they also pair wine with them if that’s what you want. You definitely need to make a reservation.

Campestre
Campestre is the place to go if you want a delicious Mexican breakfast! They have amazing chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, quesadillas and some sweet options as well. This is not a fancy place by all means and is not easy to get to by yourself, your best chance is to ask a taxi to take you there. There are no reservations and there is always a long line each Sunday waiting to go inside and be seated. It is very cheap but only in price, there is a reason why it is always full and a must for locals.

Agua Salada
Agua Salada is a cool fun place in the marina, where you can go have many drinks and enjoy a good meal. This is a place where a lot of people in Cabo celebrate their birthday, including yours truly, it’s a very fun place, it has good music (sometimes at night they have live mariachi bands), and the food is really good. I particularly love their curricanes and their shrimp burger.

Neptune
Neptune is a restaurant hidden in the hotel Villa del Arco. It also has an amazing view. It has a wonderful list of appetizers ranging from Ceviche of the Day to Fried Clams to Oysters and Pineapple Mezcal! But the entrees are just as delicious, the Red Snapper and the Cowboy Steak are definitely on the go-to list, but ask if they have any specials as that is where they really shine.

Flora Farms
Flora farms is a little off the beaten path. It is after San Jose del Cabo, and you definitely need to go there either by car or by taxi. It is a beautiful huge farm with a restaurant, and their motto is “From farm to table” Everything in the menu comes from their 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. Besides having delicious organic locally grown food, there is a bakery, an organic grocery and some boutiques.
The place is so beautiful that it has a space for weddings and events, this is where Adam Levine decided to get married.
If by any chance you are there during thanksgiving, they make the best pies!! I HIGHLY recommend the coconut cream pie!

Pochos
Pochos is a small restaurant right in the middle of the marina and it is known for the best Caesar salad, prepared tableside, and their everyday caught fresh seafood. Depending on the catch of the day, their menu options change daily. Everything is just delicious!! Also, if you went out fishing that day, you can bring what you caught, and they will prepare it however you want.
