One of the most popular perfumes in the world has launched a new version, now with floral notes. Oui la vie est belle. It is Lancôme’s first sweet iris, rose, and jasmine perfume.
Fragrance Notes
Its notes are fruity bergamot, pink pepper and juicy raspberry accord, a generous and faceted floral bouquet of rich rose centifolia, ylang ylang and jasmine marries with an abundant base of patchouli, gourmand accord and iris.
My Thoughts
What does it smell like? It is a very warm perfume that smells sweet and floral at the same time. The packaging is gorgeous! It is so unique and elegant with glitter fireworks that works with their message of saying yes to life and enjoying every moment. I love their message.
The scent is very long lasting and once it is really in your skin, the smell is incredible.
A word of caution, when you smell it for the first time it smells delicious, then for like 5 minutes it takes a bit of a bitter turn while it is settling into your skin, after that the smell is back like at the first whiff. Something to keep in mind.
Lancôme’s says that this fragrance is for those who celebrate every moment of joy and empowers those who wear it to embrace every opportunity. To me, this is the perfect fragrance for the days I want to feel uber feminine, elegant and classy. Perfect for a romantic night out with my husband.
