One of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten is a Fire HD.
A year ago, I moved to another country, only all of my stuff was arriving weeks after me. Here I was, in a new country, with no TV, no books, nothing to do, and then the best gift ever arrived in the mail… a Fire HD. This thing saved my life!! (Check out some book recommendations below.)

Crooked House
Agatha Christie is one of my all-time favorite authors and this book is amazing!! It is soo good and I devoured It in 2 days. If you like detective stories and trying to figure out if the butler killed the master or not, this is a must read.
But really any Agatha Christie book is a must read, especially the ones with my beloved Hercules Poirot, or Miss Marple. (If you are a fan, you’ll know.)
It Starts with the Egg
If you follow my blog, you might know that my husband and I have been trying to have a baby. This book is very insightful and gives a lot of advice on what to eliminate from your life and/or diet. It also mentions the actual studies that prove the advice given in the book. A lot of women who have struggled conceiving were able to get pregnant following the points the author makes.
The Whole 30
This is a very good book that teaches you how to cleanse and reset your body by only eating foods that don’t lead to inflammation. It teaches you to go back to basics and cook mostly meats and vegetables. After you do the whole 30 days the book is still good to have for clean recipe inspiration.
The Princess Who Believed in Fairy Tales: A Story for Modern Times
This book marked my life when I was a teenager, so I decided to buy it again and it did not disappoint. It is not a fairytale like the name says, but the life of a princess whose path is not what she expected and now she needs to learn to believe in herself and adapt to her new world in the most beautiful way. It is a symbolic journey that any woman can relate to. It is a beautiful book to read at any stage of your life.
